American flags should be banned from future World Cups. If we’re honest at least that flag hasn’t been an actively imperialist symbol for decades whereas the American flag is currently seen a a symbol of imperialism and hate.

1. Japan, Portugal, the UK, France, Belgium, and Spain all had colonial empires 2. South Africa had apartheid 3. Iran and Saudi Arabia have a brutal regimes that oppresses and kills women 4. Iraq has a laundry list of war crimes All this happened and yet their flags are allowed to be flown why would the US flag be any different?
