Instead of downvoting, please explain to me why the idea of forming a new government that better represents the people is a bad idea. Is it not what the founding fathers did? Is treason not intrinsic to the American system?

Because there’s more to treason than just forming a new government. Should the president be able to be charged for treason against the people?

Yes betraying your country in any number of ways is considered treason, but when I say treason I mean seditious thought and speech that has been outlawed; you aren’t allowed to question the validity of the system nor its failure to meet the requirements of the social contract between it and the people
