They didn’t even sell cans with her on them, they sent like one can directly to her for the ad, because they didn’t think their already established customers would get THAT mad about the boardroom saying “we want them queers drinking bud light because their money spends the same as straight money does” lmao I don’t think Bud Light was being like “Bud Light WILL make you a transgender woman”

See that was the joke I was making with the conservatives I know irl when the Bud Light stuff was going down, I’d be like “I got no problem with trans people, I just got a problem with Bud Light because it’s dogwater” which made most of them laugh and made the “BUD USED TO BE MY FAVORITE BEER BUT THEN THEY PUT ESTROGEN IN IT” types very upset with me

I do enjoy the occasional regular Budweiser, but man FUCK a Bud Light. It’s literally the same as the relationship between Yuengling Traditional and Yuengling Light for me, where the original ain’t even bad, but the light variant sucks donkey nuts. If I’m gonna drink a light beer it’s gonna be Miller, and even that’s only gonna be in the summertime on the water.
