I actually can’t find a good source for what the Jain stance on this is. A Reddit thread is saying that they are against contraception or sex without the intent to conceive a child because of how many sperm die? Seems a bit wild to me

I guess because they’re an extension of you and aren’t really viable for more than a little bit of time if they aren’t past the cervix and aren’t in semen. But idrk

the noises mean they can feel pain and discomfort and react to it, which is how we gage sentience in animals
