It’s almost as if a massive police state doesn’t actually stop crimes from happening it just makes it easier for the government to violate your rights

I thought it would be from rising homicide rates but we’re actually really far down down by a huge spike in the 90’s. Goddamn cops suck

Well what counts as a “cleared” case is kindof up to the police they do not even need to press charges. Mabye it would be more interesting to see convictions per murder.
