Do you feel like most people know about or care about Snowden? I saw some congressional proceeding (honestly can’t remember what it was) where they were blasting some lawmaker who wanted to grant Snowden immunity as if he has suggested killing puppies or something. Critiques from left and right. Just seemed tone deaf even for the us congress, I had thought they’d be hesitant to hate on Snowden so openly, I thought he was kind of popular among American citizens as a hero

Personally I love Snowden and Assange and Kiriakou. Tho that last one not as much bc he keeps a lid on it now and does domestic media rounds lol

Oh same here, ig I’m just surprised that more people don’t know about them. I mean Snowden had a major motion picture made about him. I guess gov efforts to slander him and whatnot have worked. I just could’ve sworn he was more popular, even among right libertarian types
