
Well the same is true for the US as well, and for anywhere else. The standards for testing wouldn't change and if anything the countries where the researchers are based in could gain an advantage. Most of the studies I've seen aren't state reported numbers but research reported. Now obviously there is a bias for who responds to the tests but usually there are demographic selections to eliminate such errors.
