I’m not even gonna pretend to like Trump’s policy on Israel but must I remind you that Trump actually closed a temporary ceasefire deal? It still didn’t mean shit. What both parties are ultimately beating around the bush on is that we give billions in military aid to Israel annually and none of them would dare take a penny from that. Words are one thing, getting people to stop fighting for a little while is good too, but why don’t we pressure them to actually stop funding genocide?

Joe Biden also closed a ceasefire deal until Hamas broke it by committing a mass shooting at a bus stop. There have been over a million dead Ukrainians since the invasion started and less than 50,000 since the war in Gaza started. One of those is clearly not a genocide, you can’t fight a war in a dense urban area without civilian casualties.

Yeah when there’s Hamas weapons caches and rocket launch sites everywhere, including in schools, that’s gonna be a problem. It’s not even a war crime since they forfeited their protection by housing military objectives. That’s why you can only bomb churches when the enemy is occupying them.

Also you can’t cry foul on “dropping bombs on kindergartens” when Hamas has sent a rocket every single day into civilian areas in Israel since 2005- if Iron Dome didn’t exist, there’d be dozens of dead Israelis every single day

They did nothing. There was nothing done that isreal didn’t allow. Biden could have stopped this if he wanted too

Doesn’t matter. No excuse for bombing civilians. Rules of war exist. The Hague exists. Human rights exist. Israel isn’t above the law no matter how much they claim to be.
