Uh no? What’s to stop a bitter ex from accusing you of rape, and then you have to somehow prove you didn’t do it?

Depends on the scenario. If a phone call is received that a girl is being raped in a frat house and the police come in and find a girl naked and drunk and boys around her, they should immediately try to prove innocence over proving guilt. If they know a frat/sports team is commonly involved in SA allegations they should take that as guilt. But if it’s as little as Emmett till, no, a catcall or ass grab isn’t the same as penetrative/exploitive violent acts of sexual violence.

Claiming that a team is commonly involved in allegations and taking that as guilt is not innocent against proven guilty… people can easily spread rumors, that’s literally what happened in the Duke lacrosse case
