China’s top down autocratic model of and social values of public harmony above individual wants means they can move REALLY fast. They instill discipline into their children through an extremely strict education system. My parents put me in a Chinese afterschool in middle school and they had us grinding calculus at 9pm in the 7th grade and it WORKED. My whole life was horrible and I hated the loss of my childhood but I grew so much from it.

Bro I was in Kumon in elementary and then my parents put me in an ACTUAL Chinese school which was sm hardcore 😭😭 it helped but sometimes I wish they’d kept me in kumon

In this pic it’s showing bond yields at the bottom. That’s absolutely for boomers lol. The top is showing international stock indices (DAX is Germany and FT Europe seems to be the FTSE Europe Index). Idk if boomers watching Fox Business care as much about international stocks lol
