This is such a braindead take. Do you like having paved roads? Well why don’t you donate money to have the roads paved? It’s because your taxes go to it. It is the same with feeding children. Our tax dollars COULD be going to it, but they aren’t. Instead, they’re going towards overpriced missiles used to bomb schools. That is the issue.
