After spending a lot of time around US military officers through my dads job, I am absolutely astounded by how much those guys hate Israel. Never met a more consistently pro Palestine group of people

Officers are also college educated so their views might be different than the enlisted men who may be more in line with your preconceived idea

I grew up in a military family and i can tell you my dad had very little love for the government

Enlisted tend to adopt a more “let’s stay out of it” attitude. Many have issues with the role of Israel in American politics and also recognize the exhaustion and futility from 20 years of conflict in the Middle East. It’s not necessarily pro-Palestine sentiment from enlisted, more “not our problem and we have bigger things to worry about”
