whenever 97% of abortions happen the “fetus” is barely a clump of cells there is no human being murdered. you pro-lifers don’t give a shit what happens to the kid after it’s born. they can grow up abused and resented by their birth partners, abused and neglected by foster/adopted parents. grow up in poverty because that individual wasn’t ready to have children. it’s like bringing a life into the world and throwing it to the wolves.

While that is wrong, I do wish we’d support those kids as they grow up, I also think a hard life is better than no life

as someone who grew up with a hard life you’re delusional… you talk as if a clump of cells is able to understand what “life” is. it’s not alive nor does it have any form of consciousness. it’s. a. clump. of. cells. nothing more.

Obviously the fetus doesn’t understand what life is, just like my son doesn’t understand what calculus is. Hell, I don’t understand what life is. That doesn’t mean I should take the opportunity from a “clump of cells”. Understanding or consciousness doesn’t grant personhood.

the cells don’t have consciousness to begin with. theres no heartbeat there’s no brain there’s no limbs no formation of a human being. it cannot survive outside of the womb. if it came out it would look like a blood clot women get on their periods. and that’s when 97% of abortions happen whenever the cell consists of nothing but an amalgamation of sperm and egg. no one is getting an abortion at 7-8 months when there is a viable fetus unless it’s an absolute necessity / emergency.
