I agree with the latter portion of your statement, and finding a way to peace is fundamental to a functioning democracy. “When the conversation ends, violence begins” - Charlie Kirk. For someone peacefully debating conservatism to be construed as “spreading hate” for maybe having some opinions or statements you dont agree with, I think is antithetical to the latter statement. He just got murdered for it.
A man who’s life was dedicated to having peaceful conversations about our country on college campuses to be murdered is pretty horrible. He was peacefully excercising his liberties in open debate. And he just got murdered for having opinions that are mild conservativism - perhaps even said something unpopular before! but peacefully debated it anyway - by your extreme ideology. So yeah, as an American that’s something unpopular to celebrate.
Democrats are the people labeling anyone with mild conservative ideologies with extreme labels every day! Literally Kirk was trying to peacefully reach understanding on 99% liberal college campuses what conservativism is. Time magazine cover of Trump with a hitler stash. Dems running on “Trump is literally hitler!”You tell me who is letting a couple people define a whole movement, and generalizing. Charlie Kirk just got killed for it.
Dude i dont know what kool-aid y’all have been drinking to reach this level of delusion. A guy maybe said stuff that was wrong. He did it in peace. Debated openly. On 99% left leaning college campuses. And you’re justifying feeling amoral and celebrating because of stuff he said that you dont agree with. You make it so easy to see conservatism is so less extreme than that…
I dont give a fuck what you’re opinion is of his talking points were. He was an american excercising his unalienable rights to free speech and did so in peace. You’re opinion of his opinions is not justification for murder in it of itself. And if you think so, you’re the extremist.
Bro there’s a section dedicated to religion, stfu. You want to paint only one side as violent when time and time again right wingers have been outspoken in support of violence even before Kirk I see conservatives yelling about civil war fantasying about killing someone other than their ideology. You have no moral high ground defending the life of an outspoken racist, homophobic, evil man.
Evil? Evil? Someone said stuff politically you dont agree with. And then you label them as evil. He was exercising his freedom of speech and assembly peacefully on college campuses. You’re labeling that as evil, because of something he said, opinion he held, or whatever, and justifying his murder is what’s wrong with this country.
He wrote “hey fascist! catch!”. Only an extreme leftist would do that. Comments say everything about why that guy exists in soceity - because left wing extremism couldnt handle someone exercising fundamental liberties peacefully. He had “wrongthink” which every they all call fascism, nazism, and the countries leader literally hitler. Peace and love turned to hate and violence. Recognize where the democratic party actually is.
Fundamental human rights granted to us by the constitution allow us to have freedom of speech. Idc what some hivemind interprets as factually “spreading hate”. When it starts drawing the line between what’s allowed to be spoken or not - with no other transgression on society otherwise - and and kills people for speaking peacefully, that is a transgression upon that right. Everyone should be allowed to speak in peace. No matter their opinion. It’s crazy to see the left argue otherwise
