Yeah its super convenient how people always gorget about the maga republicans who stormed the capitol and killed a bunch of people

There was way more people involved in BLM riots. Multiple cities burning places to the ground and killing others and looting. Maybe think about your side first

I never did that, the vast majority of people on the left neither did that nor supported it

This argument also applies to the OP tho

The president supports that, and most right wingers online support that. I’d say it’s a bit different, and any right wing people are free to say they don’t support it, but are yet to

People online are a bad sample to pull your conclusions from. It’s literally the same as people saying we’re all celebrating his death when it’s just wackos online. Of course rage bait is going to gather the most views clicks and interactions. Just saying. That argument goes both ways

Sure I’d agree to that, but the Trump supporters ik irl either support Jan 6th or just don’t care enough tbh. Like I’m on here saying I disagree with what 1 said, yet I don’t seek anyone from the right saying they disagree with what op said

Any Trump supporter I’ve talked to about Jan 6 irl call it a hoax and start going “they call us InSuRrEcTiOnIsTs 🙄” like that wasn’t exactly what the people that were involved in that incident were. Trump supporters for some reason personally identify with those that were there that day, and just downplay the entire thing

Also, you’re right, online is a bad sample. So stop being salty that people online are posting controversial takes over this guy’s death. People cheered when the dem speaker, her NON ELECTED OFFICIAL husband, and another senator were assassinated. Shitty people will cheer whenever a public figure dies. That’s life and not a political issue. The ONLY difference between these deaths and the responses to them is that the MN lawmakers and spouse that were murdered did not have platforms built on

Perpetuating hatred and spreading straight up misinformation and propaganda regarding a genocide that he supports

The different is that leftists condemned the violence, looting, and rioting when it occurred. Right wingers tried rebranding Jan 6 as a “Day of love” lmfao

Remind me, when did any BLM protesters attack a capitol building attempting to overthrow an election?

Trump is not some person online. He pardoned all of them. If you think it’s the same as a few people taking the opportunity to create chaos, you are blind.

It does not go both ways. Your argument has been entirely dismantled by the other commenters

Not really. And it’s not my argument I don’t even have an argument. I just like when people make stronger arguments and generalizations make for bad arguments every time. Both parties tend to make generalizations especially online. Just hoping to steer the discussion in a more productive direction

I’ll agree with you when you show me one person who was looting at a BLM protest and destroying property who was killed in self defense and they’re now getting full military honors

Yeah so the reason it doesn’t go both ways is because every time there was violence at a protest, officials on the left condemned those actions and called for peace. Officials on the right said “nuh uh didn’t happen you’re cwazy. We were making love that day and then woke secret service killed that lady and those cops” That’s why it doesn’t go both ways. Because reality doesn’t exist to these people and you can’t give leniency to people that can’t even believe in reality

Five people died as a result of the Capitol attack, including one rioter shot by police, another who died from a drug overdose, and three who died from natural causes, including a Capitol Police officer who suffered a stroke after being assaulted But they weren’t influencers promoting your political belief so they don’t matter! 🤩

They would not have been killed in self defense. They were committing crimes. Why would they get full military honors. That’s one of the stupidest arguments you could have come up with.

You are too stupid to understand. J6 protester Ashley Babbitt got a military funeral. She was shot by cops when she stormed the capitol building. That never happened to a single BLM protester, I don’t know of any getting pardoned.
