If they’re tryna cover it because they learned the error of their ways and are trying to be better humans, I don’t see why we should stop them

Looking at a symbol that was previously used in a religious context? Your logic needs some work my friend. Looking at it with the intent to copy its meaning? Sure I can see that. But just looking at it? That’s a bit much

People change. If they’ve committed a crime due to their beliefs then they should be held accountable. But if they’ve got a swastika because they wanted to be edgy and cool? I don’t see why they shouldn’t be allowed to remove it.

I've seen images of monks with ones, if they get moved to West for the purpose of working in new temples they might get them covered because the meaning is different here.

You are the mirror image of the very thing you hate. The lack of human empathy to be able to understand one another is the very thing that causes that cycle of violence.

Should we not help one another change and grow as a person?

I mean, who gets a swastika tattoo just to act edgy?

Have you been on the internet at all?

Okay, rude. Secondly, there’s not a lot of non-Nazi reasons someone gets a swastika tattooed on them. Unless they’re like, a Bhuddist/Hinduist.

That doesn’t really address my point. The internet is fully edgy teens talking about Hitler, hating Jews, and the like. Go to Reddit and look around for a bit and you’ll see what I mean. It’s not impossible that these kids would get tattoos to be cool, fit in with bad groups who give them community they don’t otherwise get, or are forced to by extenuating circumstances

Well, you weren’t exactly specifying teenagers in your statement.

Well, I was thinking more along the lines of adults. Also, you’re still being aggressive to me for some reason…?

🤦‍♂️first, I ask you a rhetorical question to illustrate that the internet is filled with people who do dumb things just to be edgy. I then clarify my position before asking another rhetorical question about if teenagers are people. If you think this is being mean then I’m sorry. But you’re going to need to grow some thicker skin if you want to be on the internet.

I’m just asking for clarification on your statement. Your comments just come off as aggressive and snarky. This isn’t Reddit, man. Chill the fuck out.

A lot of people who commit to actually getting Neo Nazi tattoos do so while in prison as part of gang initiations. Many tattoo artists will give massive discounts for people who want to cover them up when they’re out of prison.

idk how else to explain it. I asked two rhetorical questions. None of which were aggressive or insulting. I then apologized and gave you some advice about being online. Somehow you perceive that as insulting and snarky? Frankly I have no clue how you could have concluded that, unless you’re rage baiting me

No, I’m not ragebaiting. Your comments just come off as snarky and rude. You go off and give rhetorical questions, when I’m just asking questions. I ask for clarity, because I like to know what exactly you’re proposing. I can’t read your mind off a Yikyak comment.

🫩 brother rhetorical questions are a valid form of linguistic expression. If you’ve got a problem with that that’s a you thing. But I’m done trying to explain myself to someone who clearly doesn’t want to listen. Adios
