Evola was a bit of an idiot ngl, most of his interesting points were just blatantly recycled from Guenon. But the righties (aside from bannon for some odd reason) don’t care enough about truth or discovery to really try figuring that out. Everything to them is identity crisis and culture war, very sad. Some dumb overly online Muslims promote evola, I understand the one in the pic is more making fun of the algorithm, but it’s still relatively esoteric culturally speaking and he’s throwing fuel on

Yeah I agree Guenon is a thinker who put more work into the arguments and actual philosophy he wrote. I think Evola still has some interesting ideas about an antitotalitarian right wing and I think his emphasis on both the physical and the spiritual are useful for finding meaning in a meaningless world. He is defiantly crazy about a lot though.

I think if you read more of guenon you’ll find of that spiritual resonance more potent than what evola provides. I’m going to send you a lecture I think may be up your alley
