
Maybe think about the implications behind believing something is ALWAYS a good thing, absolutism is dangerous. Maybe 20 years ago you could’ve convinced me it was just a paranoid conspiracy theory, but they’re not even trying to hide it anymore. In reality to run for president in Ireland you need one of the following: 1) to be nominated by at least 20/234 (roughly 8%) members of the Oireachtas (Irish parliament); 2) be nominated by at least 4 local authorities (which include county and city council members); or 3) be a former president of Ireland
