It amazes me that literal Islamic countries Saudi, Egypt, Jordan, SYRIA, Qatar, Bahrain, and Kuwait will all aid Israel preventing Iran from gaining a nuke and some white woman from Ann Arbor will say Iran shld have one to defend themselves from Israel🙄

Obviously, but even the Iranian people are extremely pro-Israel. In fact, Iran has one of the most pro-Israel populations in the world- much of that is because they see Israel as their only hope in being liberated. Why do privileged Americans think their opinion matters at all in a topic they do not and never will understand. They will argue with literal Persians who had to seek refuge from their home because of the IR regime and tell them they’re wrong

That wasn’t the point I was making. I was saying the leftists who support Iran out of spite for Israel and know nothing of the history of Persia/Iran and their former ties to the West

Gonna need some citations for the Iranians being pro Israel considering they've had a heated relationship since the 70s

Oh because Israel are saints right? You know it's entirely possible to not like Iran while also respect their sovereignty and not want America to be pulled into a war because Israel popped off

No, like the Gulf monarchies. Iran is undemocratic but they don’t practice the kafala system

They think that a small number of rich Persians in diaspora represent the Iranian people as a whole. Yes most Iranians don’t like their government but they still don’t want to be bombed by Israel!

Their precious shah only took power because the CIA and MI6 couped Mossadegh so they could keep controlling Iranian oil

You paint a very broad brush by saying all the Iranian people support Israel when it seems to be the Monarchists and their supporters.
