They said they're no longer negotiating, and national news is basically calling this the Iran hostage crisis, but with finances. They're trying to embarrass him, make sure he doesn't have a political career after this, and send a message.

So tbh, I say yes and no to this. The word of both sides have basically meant nothing this entire time. Talks are off, surprise they’re back on again, oops too bad they’re off again. That’s the cycle rn and there’s tiny little bits of progress hyped up that mean nothing.

I believe Iran will let ships pass thru but also that they will maintain this cycle until at LEAST the next president’s inauguration and it’s not too hard for them to do it
