Charlie Kirk literally didn’t believe in the first amendment… he was an advocate for christian dictatorship. free speech is a moot point when the thing you’re advocating for is literally the banning of disagreeing views. conservatives believe in free speech for themselves, and that liberals should go to prison for disagreeing or criticizing the president
That’s not what conservatives believe. Your point is moot. You can speak about having no free speech but that’s your free speech to do so. If you really think that the response to views being spoken that you feel are dangerous to you is to shoot someone, you need to rethink. This isn’t going to fix any problems, in fact this just made things worse. It doesn’t matter who the shooter is, because the left in the spotlight had wine to it. Good luck fixing the PR after that.
Then when you’re called something and put in that spotlight you should be able to take what you give. The Founding Fathers were in worse positions and yet they sent letters first before they fought. They weren’t eager to do it, but you are. That’s the difference between people who do it as a last resort or necessity and those who seek every opportunity to do so.
