Every right winger calling what that AG candidate said “threats” is a fucking moron. If I say “I hope [x] happens” that’s at worst a fucked up thing to say, but it’s not a THREAT unless I say “I’m going to MAKE [x] happen”
Republicans get caught making offensive jokes and the left melts down Democrat threatens to kill his opponent and his children and the left nominates him to be the Attorney General of Virginia We’re not the same

What’s even more illegal, is to show an illustrated diagram… INSANELY ILLEGAL. RIDICULOUSLY, INCREDIBLY FELONIOUS

What the AG candidate said was bad, but afaik no legal action was taken against him at the time of the texts in August 2022 (the person discussed in the texts was made aware of them) and these weren’t released until October, when they could’ve been released before the primary

Might as well change your name to cunts of the world unite, because that’s what you are. Who honestly gives a fuck if it’s a threat versus a hope. You seriously think someone who thinks like that is deserving of being a state’s top law enforcement officer?

No, I think what he said was fucked up and he should’ve been better about not saying fucked up shit, like I said. Also, that’s one guy who said a vile thing in a private conversation, which isn’t quite the same as the group chat for a very influential national organization with a whole bunch of people saying vile shit in it.

It’s exactly the same. Messages that were said in a private text string among friends. There is literally no difference except for the lefts reaction

If this was one isolated crazy chapter of the College Republicans on one campus, maybe you’d have a point, but that’s not what this is. You vote for the party of calling Black people “monkeys” and “watermelon people” but I’m supposed to bend over backwards for what a state-level Democrat in a place I don’t even live had to say?

Cheese why are we wasting our time at 8:40am across like 3 posts trying to justify the claim that Nazis are bad to a bunch of idiots who defend a pedophile in the Oval Office 😭

“Everyone who votes no is going in the gas chambers” I guess we both vote for the party of wanting our opponents dead, if we’re basing that off of what one shithead has to say

See I wouldn’t be as upset if one of you didn’t literally kill one of our leading activists and speakers just over a month ago. I would hope you could understand why people on the right are taking threats pretty seriously after that?

I don’t remember killing anyone, can you tell me who I killed? Is this like a Velma Kelly from Chicago situation? “I blacked out, I don’t remember a thing. It wasn’t until I was washing the blood off my hands I even knew they were dead”

So you’d agree that one person of a collective killing another makes it reasonable to assume that entire collective is prone to or enjoys violence? Surely you’d see this with police departments and ICE now, right? Surely yours wouldn’t be the party of celebrating these violent and dangerous police officers, surely?

Well I didn’t have any hand in killing Charlie Kirk, so I’m gonna call that a moot point.

If we’re demonizing entire sides of the aisle over the actions of their crazies, one of you shot up a church in Charleston, one of you shot up a grocery store in Buffalo, another one of you shot up a grocer in San Antonio, oh and one of you murdered Martin Luther King.

Okay. Two of you shot up christian schools in Minneapolis and Nashville. One of you killed a bunch of cops in Dallas. One of you killed gay people in Orlando and two of you killed people at an office party in Cali. Two can play at this game

Right, leftists, known for their sense of religiously motivated homophobia. Just because it wasn’t Christianity doesn’t mean that’s not religious conservatism buddy.

Yeah I can definitely blame religious conservatism when that was explicitly the guy’s motive and a VAST majority of Arab immigrants are not shooting up gay nightclubs, actually. In fact, of the few million Arabs in America, that was one (1) dude.
