That seems like a good idea at first, but it promotes bigotry on all sides and leads to a tribal mentality that will only lead to violence. The best world is one in which all people can coexist peacefully

Christianity is also an “openly outward lifestyle” that a lot of people consider hateful and I personally wouldn’t want my children taught those values. But if you say that a trans person isn’t allowed to be a teacher you could just as easily apply the same logic to a black person or someone of a different faith. Everyone has the right to choose their child’s education and if they want to move schools that’s fine, but someone’s livelihood shouldn’t be threatened by the views of a minority

At the end of the day it’s my belief that rhetoric that promotes the oppression of any group is wrong and it goes for everyone from trans people to Christians

The whole point of this post is to show how hateful and outright demonic that kind of rhetoric is. I don’t think anyone should have that happen to them

You’re looking at those hypotheticals through a lens of Christianity, the point of them is to show how easily the same level of bigotry can be applied to things considered acceptable yet some think it’s okay to apply it to certain groups

I’m more so referencing the kind of rhetoric I used in the post, we already agree that you have a right to choose who educates your child

Facts will change minds at the end of the day, a large portion of the MAGA movement has been indoctrinated into a cult and spend a large majority of their time reinforcing their beliefs in echo chambers. It is rare that an individual will continue their line of close minded philosophy when in constant contact with diversity
