No I think it will adopt socialist policies that will spend more money than it makes and bankrupt the city, hope that helps

Got it my mistake I was thinking of US intervention & crippling sanctions since that happened in Venezuela.

Yeah reasonable to make that mistake because the sanctions while it worsened the situation the weren’t put on Venezuela until a decade+ after their terrible socialist policies were already ruined the country. But our fault for putting sanctions on them for violating human rights and having a dictatorship.
