52 Republicans voted to keep the government open. 2 Democrats voted to keep it open. Why? Because democrats want to give money to illegals and to people for trans surgery. Hope this helps!

You mean it’s being redirected into border security, national defense, tax cuts for working Americans, infrastructure, and law enforcement. Many people simply don’t want their tax dollars funding programs that reward fraud, abuse, or illegal immigration when that money could go toward priorities that strengthen the country.
