There’s peer reviewed studies showing the benefit of bluey for children’s social and emotional development, empathy development, coping and resilience, problem solving, and emotional regulation. So if the crowd you’re going against is literal science I fear you are wrong and need to reevaluate your career choice of being an educator

I’m just going to hope it’s one of those misguided confusing permissive parenting with gentle parenting and thus blaming gentle parenting techniques with permissive bullshit that directly causes so many behavioral issues, but part of me thinks she’s just lowkey an asshole (she’s an only child after all)
