Most socialism ideas support free shit like grocery stores. And the prices at the grocery store are going to be so cheap because it’s subsidized by the government it might as well be free. Not a crazy mistake to make

But you have to understand, from my perspective, you literally just made up a bunch of random shit off of what you *think* socialism is, and then said mamdani was failing because the things you made up wouldn’t work. All fuckin mamdani WANTS to do is make your groceries cheaper, make your public transportation free and efficient, make childcare funded via taxpayers, and make the place YOU LIVE better. Those are achievable. Taxes could (and will in nyc) pay for childcare, and for busses. Hell. If America switched to Medicare for all across the country, we’d actually cost the taxpayers LESS than our current system. You’re being tricked, by idiots who want you to be an idiot too. But you don’t have to be.
