In the last 28 days, WHO reported 1,458 global covid deaths, about the student body of a large high school. At covid’s peak, there were 941,000 deaths in the same time frame (roughly Delaware’s population, and 645 times higher than now). For context, the flu kills about 39,000 people every month. If you haven’t panicked about the flu your whole life, it doesn’t make sense to panic about covid now.
