WTF? One group actually beheads westerners and the other group just annoys you. What a tone deaf post.

American evangelicals are the same as ISIS.

American Fascism, Lead by the Evangelical Movement, literally just ended Roe v Wade and killed hundreds of thousands of women in the space of 18 months. It is a matter of scale. Christofascism can kill a smaller percentage of people and be a dramatically worse force in the world, simply by virtue of the number of people they’re ruling over.

It’s not tone deaf, you are. The only difference between “conservative” evangelicals and ISIS is how much they can get away with; the evangelicals are still laying groundwork to murder women they disagree with and practice other religious violence. It’s very openly, explicitly their goal though. They aren’t any different, just their circumstances.

Somehow both groups end up avoiding speaking up about Israel…

It'd be more accurate to say Evangelicalism is America's Jihadism but they wouldn't go so far as to compare the actual ideologies out of a fear of being called islamaphobic

why would it be islamophobic? evangelicals believe every Jew in the entire world has to be deported to israel and exterminated to bring about the second coming of jesus. ISIS doesn't even go that far

Our nation was 90% Christian a few decades ago and we didn’t even compare to ISIS. Saying that evangelicals inherently want to commit acts of terrorism is such a flawed statement because it is extremely disproportionate to the evangelical population in the US.

I did. Evangelicals could absolutely get away with it if they wanted to considering the amount of them in the country. However, it seems like you haven’t actually talked to enough of them because they don’t want to kill people.

I have talked to probably a few thousand evangelicals in the last twenty years, they rarely shut up about wanting to kill people in my experience. It comes up frequently and unprompted.

I’ve never heard any evangelicals say that. I’ve been to many evangelical Churches and that is not at all what they teach. Killing people is also extremely contradictory to scripture. I am not saying that there aren’t subsects that are hostile to others, but to demonize tens of millions of people comparing them to ISIS is utterly insane.
