Okay so many say that nuclear is the answer but my biggest question is, what are we going to do with the nuclear waste? It’s extremely toxic and radioactive. We can’t bury it underground like our trash either bc radiation will penetrate through the ground

Unfortunately there’s been such (unwarranted) backlash on clean/green energy that people have quite literally been convinced that this is the situation. When there’s pretty consistent talk about dropping nukes and the damage it would case, people kind of shy away from it because of word association. That’s why education on these topic is so important, but it’s unfortunately not common
