OP referred to Jewish people having ancestral ties to the land. I agreed, but said that doesn’t justify killing. I didn’t say “Jews are murdering” I said that Jewish people don’t have the right to murder over those ties, which is true. The argument for Israel’s past and present conduct is that they do.
But I didn’t… I didn’t say you are doing something I said you cannot do something. Defenders of Israel argue they can do the things they are, because they are Jewish, and thus have ancestral ties to the land, not because they are Israeli, which is simply a matter of nationality. It’s clearly not a given when it is literally a bipartisan stance that Israel has an unimpeachable right to murder whoever it wants because as the Jewish state is has a connection to the land those people are living on
