So is No Kings gonna evolve into an actual movement like the Tea Party or is it just large scale group therapy?

Are you talking about the Boston Tea Party or the 2010s political faction?

This is the third one, so it sounds like it needs to be a recurring meeting on the calendar

Yeah those are two very different things then lol. There’s no “No Kings” faction in Congress. That’s basically all Dems in Congress except Fetterman and maybe 1-2 others

Then your question is unclear but it seems like you’re trying to equate two very different things

No, again is No Kings going to be able to evolve into a tangible movement that actually influences domestic politics at all long term or is it just collective group therapy?

OHHHH I see. Well it’s a pretty broad movement/coalition. I think it helps raise awareness and provide a pathway to more targeted actions, but by itself I don’t think it’ll directly lead to change. I honestly don’t think most protests lead directly to change

Yeah but if they can capture capital and build actual infrastructure they could totally be the Democrats version of the Tea Party
