I wouldn’t be OK sleeping in a room with a dog I don’t know. Doesn’t matter the breed. I know I train my dogs, but so many people don’t. I want to know if I’m going to wake up with my stuff chewed, accidents in my room, or if they’ll bite and claw (whether out of aggression or anxiety).

I know you’re trying to do an analogy here but even with aggressive dogs, the likelihood that they’ll come for you while you’re sleeping is SO low. so yea I’d sleep would I feel okay opening the door into a hallway where a big dog (any breed) I don’t know is sleeping? noooooooo

nah my dog that i’ve had for 8 years likes to fart so horrifically while he’s sleeping that it wakes me up gagging. also he likes to eat everything out of my trashcan and chew on his own feet so loudly it wakes you up. no way im risking dealing with any of that shit for a dog i DONT know
