It’s like the way that people pretend that unless you’re giving all your time and energy to your job, then you’re lazy. Unless you’re constantly hustling to make money, you’re lazy. That’s what contributes so much to the high expectations of the workforce, expecting their employees to give 150% while being paid nothing, expecting their hiring candidates to have 5 years of experience for a starting position.
