Unfortunately they did the same thing in Oregon a few years ago. So TX did the exact same thing in 2023 after dems walked out

the difference is the democrats did it for a good reason while those republicans did it because they don’t believe in climate change.

That’s the problem. You can’t convince the other side about what’s a good reason and what isn’t. Texas surely believes they have a good reason for fining these senators. I think we have to be somewhat consistent. Either walking out is fine, or it isn’t

I disagree. The Texas government is literally treasonous, they’re trying to rig the election, they are blatantly in the wrong. literally any action to prevent what they’re doing is legitimate.

I don’t think there’s a need to convince the other side of that or anything else, they need to defeated, utterly destroyed as a party such that they never hold power again and that anyone involved with the current government is blackballed for life
