Did you miss the part about “people that are hurting Americans” … if it’s referring to someone that is trans, it’s referring to the ones involved in terrorist activity such as the recent school shootings and people involved in street violence like antifa, no one is threatening to kill someone just bc they’re trans

So quick question: Do you lack media literacy and/or reading comprehension skills? There have been hundreds of anti-trans bills passed or introduced around the country, despite trans people making up around 1% of the population. These bills only serve to limit trans people’s rights. Don’t pretend you aren’t aware of what I’m talking about. There have been less than ten trans mass shooters within the last decade. Meanwhile, right wing extremism is the leading ideology behind mass shooters.

If this was about protecting Americans, they would have cracked down on far right extremism. Instead, they continue to punch down on an already marginalized group that they’ve made their scapegoat. Trans people are not a danger to society. Right wingers are.

There’s many groups that are a danger to a society. Anyone who becomes radicalized far left or far right. I’m not saying that they are the biggest threat. I am saying that it is a lie that the action being threatened is just to literally just kill random trans people solely bc of their identity. There have been recent cases of radicalized trans people doing shootings and there’s plenty of assaults that are not reported in mainstream media bc they don’t want to make the community look bad

I know multiple people who have been the victims of radicalized leftists in public settings such as at college campuses, that doesn’t get covered on CNN bc they don’t want to get called transphobic. Same reason you don’t see many other crimes reported such as black and black and black on other races crimes. Doesn’t mean that that stuff doesn’t happen

Anecdotes are not evidence. There have been less than ten trans mass shooters within the last decade. A majority of mass shootings have been committed by white, Christian right wing men. It is an undeniable pattern that studies frequent find.

you know trans people have a lower-than-average rate of gun violence right if we wanted to single out a demographic, we should be looking at young white cis men who happen to be conservative.
