Irish Republicanism mentioned!! I mean, it could be a socialist thing for her. I also unwillingly voted for Harris as a socialist 🤷🏻‍♀️ I wouldn't see it as flirting per se, just someone expressing their political support. Like imagine someone seeing your story, nodding and going "yup!!" That's how I see it anyway. Maybe you can start a convo about Irish politics, see where that gets you?

I wonder if it's solely religious for her, or if she understands the context of what Catholics and Protestants mean in the north of Ireland and she politically aligns with Catholics/nationalists/republicans
