no I got run over by a person on a bike because they thought they had enough room on the sidewalk. they did not.

They are in most states. I stick to the sidewalk in a lot of areas because cars are going 45+, and 1. I don’t want to die. 2. It is easier to move a person then a car
The solution is, of course, protected bike lanes. Bikes are their own speed.

maybe not run over, but their handlebar went right into me and they fell and it was bad

This is the real answer. Everyone gets their own lane

That sucks, but it would be much worse if a car were to hit a person on a bike than if a person on a bike hit a person walking

Ideally, but not every road has a bike lane, so I think it should just be generally accepted for bikes to be on the sidewalk, especially for kids.

I mean yea that’s true. I guess the best solution is bike lane or every car knew how to properly treat bikers and not be impatient fucks

Bikers have the right to fall down on their bike, and not get hit by a car.
Bus/bike only can be annoying because bike slower than the bus. But whenever it stops you go faster. However we don’t have buses every 2 minutes so it’s not a big deal to me.
