Tbh they can dismiss and downplay it all they want (id argue it’s also intentional to discourage others from joining) as long as the movement for organizing strikes on sectors of the economy (or its entirety) remains and grows, they’ll feel the impact one way or another; and the government will either cave or send in the military to stomp all public demonstrations (which will wake many more up to what’s going on in the long term)

that’s utterly insane, in all honesty. Many of my fellow leftists, myself included, strive to expand access to concept of democracy in nearly every facet of life, especially in the workplace.
