There’s anonymity on the internet if you want to put the work in. And it’s fairly easy to do so as well. But if every website requires your ID or biometrics that will no longer be the case.

I’d be somewhat surprised if the rest of the EU is on board with this considering how seriously they take privacy, but the backsliding of freedom of speech there is concerning

Congress is already trying to reintroduce versions of the kids online safety act to include biometric identification. It will be here if we don’t stand up against it NOW
