The idea of doge was nice, but theres not nearly enough waste and fraud to balance the budget. If you’re not willing to cut defense, social security, medicare, and medicaid you will never balance the budget.

More like the problem with investor capitalism. We pay 1.2 Trillion a year in debt, which is 17% of our entire budget.

We pay $1.2 trillion in *interest* on the debt which exists because of overspending on defense, social security, Medicare, and Medicaid

Exactly. The average American say doge cutting 100 million dollar contracts and thinks that will actually make a difference because they cannot comprehend how big our spending is. Doge literally couldn't make an impact without cutting dod and ss and they could never touch that
