Because oppression doesn’t justify terrorist attacks against civilians. Also because Hamas does not care about civilians in Gaza, and their primary goal is to destroy Israel. A long term solution the Israel/Palestine needs new Israeli leadership AND new leadership in Gaza

The colonizer sets the stranded for violence. Attacks against civilians didn’t start until after events like the Cave of the Patriarchs massacre. On the point of destroying “israel” (which to be clear is an illegitimate state to begin with), Hamas has multiple times said they would accept a two state solution and lay down their arms. A long term solution needs an end to the genocidal settler colony of “israel”.
