People have to have permits to distribute food… that’s a law almost everywhere plus there have been ppl in the past that poisoned the homeless sooo

Don't you think there could've been a better solution than arresting a 90 year old man who simply wants to help the needy and has been doing so for 20+ years? I just looked up the story and this quote from the Mayor explains it all: "Providing them with a meal and keeping them in that cycle on the street is not productive"
