Even after Jan 6 happened, and after the governor of Texas pardoned a guy who literally texted his friend “I’m going to go murder a Democrat” and then went and murdered a Democrat, the Dems in office continued to just try and keep decorum and act like nothing was happening despite the fact that the shots had already been fired. It was a dumb move to still pretend everything was normal.
