Why are liberals so god damn dumb that they automatically think you’re a trump supporter if you even just criticize liberals/democrats. Even if you’re criticizing liberals for their support of capitalism they somehow think that means you’re a trumper…

I’m a communist too, but on a day to day I try to reduce harm. Come Election Day, we can’t change the fact that we are working in a two party system and that D or R will be elected. I find that D is at least trying to help people so it is important to vote D. If I were to vote for a 3rd party it would be practically giving my vote to R which is something I absolutely do not want to do. Now outside of Election Day criticism for D is well warranted and I would like to work on getting rank choice

The issue Ds have with criticism is that they need a big tent to win because of how the electoral college is set up. They need a lot more people to vote for them. When you are spreading info that paints them in a bad light to other people that are more moderate it feels like they might agree and instead of blaming capitalism they may turn and side with R. You are working to grow R even if that is not ur intention. So in that sense you are working for trump so they see you as a trumper

That’s how I felt in 2020 but I now see little difference between the parties and their participation in the empire. I don’t agree that democrats are trying to help at all, they’re just trying to maintain the empire and appease the donor class in a less openly harsh way. That’s their strategy. Which you could argue in many ways is more insidious than the republicans strategy in maintaining the empire openly
