Let’s not forget your own perspective on the matter. are you having difficulty defending your pro-fossil fuel stance and how it relates to being pro-electric vehicles (cognitive dissonance go brr)?

also, are you ready to acknowledge that you’re a propagandist yet?

I am a propagandist for electric vehicles, even in the hypothetical scenario that they are collectively and entirely powered by generators that is still a lot less pollution and fuel consumption

That last sentence is me using your understanding of how thermal efficiency works and making fun of you. You’re the butt of the joke, its satire

so electric vehicles that are powered by fossil fuels… yes, we all know you’re a propagandist, you’re just too arrogant to understand when to give the fuck up in regurgitating your propaganda.

Is projection your method of self-affirmation? or do you do that whenever you’re feeling a bit insecure?

Do you still, after all of this back and forth Are you still not comprehending how much less fuel is consumed by generators compared to gas vehicles?

Im LITERALLY saying ā€œheres a hypothetical where every single vehicle is electric and powered by a generator, and in this hypothetical scenario there is drastically less global fuel consumption. I see this as a good thingā€

you can fixate on that hyper niche point as much as you’d like, it doesn’t assist your case. my entire topic of contention was about greenwashing, and the impact of and contribution to the anthropogenic climate crisis; you’re directly affirming my critique and you’re either too stupid, or too arrogant, to understand how. it’s baffling to say the least.

Is that the reality? NO Would the cars being powered by solar/wind/nuclear be better? Absolutely Is it STILL better than the current system? DRASTICALLY

that’s without even diving into your subtle denialism of the anthropogenic climate crisis, which you know you can’t be openly honest about because it will immediately and inherently discredit your entire perspective. this tactic isn’t working for you dude, it’s time to pack it up and get a new job.

you specifically said pollution, then subtly stated how ā€œnot that less pollution does anything come to find out thoughā€ you are not sneaky, and we all see through your terrible attempts at propagandizing this topic.

How many more times do I have to explain to you that the last part in that screenshot is me making fun of you. That is not a position that I hold. I am satirizing your incapability of understanding thermal, efficiency, and using that to make you the butt of a joke

which you’re doing so in attempts to avoid critique of your own position and avoid having to meaningfully defend your actual positions. in other words, ad hominem. see how whenever I call you a fucking imbecile or the like, it’s always in addition to actually rebutting the positions you state? meanwhile, you merely attempt to defend yourself by doubling down and criticizing me.

if you’re incapable of defending yourself, it’s okay to admit that. it would actually show a sign of maturity, rather than this seemingly arrogant desperation to be ā€œrightā€

(don’t worry, I don’t actually expect you to be able to defend your positions, I’m near positive you’re only holding them out of arrogant tribalism and refuse to engage in the slightest hint of self-reflection)

here, I’ll move the goalpost just like you do: do you even recognize and acknowledge the anthropogenic climate crisis?

I think pollution is bad, I think pollution leads to bad things for the Earth Therefore, I am in favor of a system that produces less pollution I think that such a system is good for the environment

oh that wasn’t my question, I was very specific. do you recognize the anthropogenic climate crisis? I.e. do you acknowledge how greenhouse gases, continued resource extraction, and other human activity has caused and is causing a major impact to the global climate cycle, and is predicted to increase the average temperate of the planet; resulting in potentially catastrophic impacts around the globe?

Or, are you merely weaponizing and propagandizing this vital topic of conversation in order to garner support for your preferred political ideologues and their financial interests? (next time let’s stay on topic and not move the goalposts, because two can play at this game)

I’m discussing anthropogenic climate change and the pollution of fossil fuels, and you think I’m against ridding our world of polluted air? if I didn’t make it clear enough: I’m advocating in favor of meaningful methods of reducing pollution, not merely hiding it in a different location while making ourselves feel better. why do you think I discussed the energy industry and the pollution it creates worldwide….

So you're an idiot because EVs are a meaningful improvement, like more than 50% better. If you don't understand that, which it seems you don't, you just don't like clean air.

my issue is people like 1 are being malicious. they don’t meaningfully care about pollution, they care about praising companies like Tesla (or Tesla specifically by nature of Elon musk, or possibly purely for their own personal benefit if they have stock invested within Tesla) I’m worried about actually addressing pollution at the source, rather than tending to our ā€œimageā€ if that makes sense.

Are you intentionally dense? I’ve repeatedly said how the issue with EVs are the existing method for generating power, like atleast put effort into your chosen propaganda. EVs themselves are not bad, as I’ve always stated repeatedly. the issue is the continued reliance on fossil fuels to power them. how many fucking times do I need to repeat this.

it’s not about the EV themselves, it’s about how we source the power to fuel them.
