yes true and there have been sanctions against entities in the UAE but proposals to block arms sales to the UAE did not pass because Republicans voted against it

Seems like there has been a block/review on aid to the UAE since March but I assume Trump/Rubio can just declare an emergency and send them anyway

Yeahh, that is my understanding too, that the Trump administration can still proceed with sales even though there was a congressional hold placed on arms transfers
