I’m sick of living in a fucking surveillance state. I don’t want cameras staring at me every second of the day. I don’t want to be tracked with my purchases. I don’t want my internet use scanned. Just let me fucking live.

The alternative is usually using your photo ID

For example, they may scan your face at the gate when you’re boarding an international flight. You can opt out of this, but don’t look at/near the camera when you’re telling the agent you want to opt out, because it’s fucking fast 💀

Oh I think I see what you mean. That photo was already in their database. They want another picture if possible. The more they build up the dataset, the easier they can identify you with a different hairstyle, slightly tanner, different lighting, etc
