Yes, they were. A pro-Palestinian activist went to an AJC conference and fired indiscriminately into the crowd yelling “Free Palestine”. His goal was to kill Jewish people. It was an act of terror.

I mean the AJC is an explicitly Zionist organization, it’s not like they’re some apolitical Jewish cultural organization. The guy didn’t hit some Jewish Community Center or synagogue at random, he went to a political event and committed a political assassination.

A political assassination is when you target and kill specific a person(s) who has significant power and influence over policies or parties you oppose. Shooting indiscriminately at non-policy makers who are affiliated with something you oppose is politically motivated murder, not assassination.
