Yes, this is the idea behind my comment, just worded significantly better. I would agree it’s necessary to call out politicians on their wrongdoings, but I don’t think we should be generalizing that behavior to those who share a political party with that individual. Saying that “all republicans want to take away access to abortions” or “all democrats want communism” is by no means conducive to forward progress.

No, it is not by any means, I agree with you on that. However, OP’s statement, whether intentional or not, is worded so that the provided logic and reasoning behind, in this fictitious scenario, Glenn Quagmire being a Republican Party candidate is because he is a pedo.
